Brittney Beck-James is the Academic Advisor and Student Teaching & Field Experience Coordinator for the Council on Teacher Education. Brittney is responsible for facilitating all aspects of student teaching placements. Brittney has over seven combined years of experience in college access and success, program development, student advocacy, coaching, and counseling/advising through various positions within the University of Illinois system. Brittney received both her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Master of Education in Instructional Leadership: Education Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
