Hello UIC Teacher Candidates,
Are you currently enrolled in a UIC education program and planning to
student teach during the 2025–26 school year? If so, we invite you to apply
for an exciting opportunity this summer! Through hands-on training and
collaborative projects, you’ll gain valuable experience and tools to bring
innovation into your future classrooms, and have the opportunity to earn
your Google Educator and Apple Teacher certifications.
Technology for the Classroom Summer Institute
Hosted by the UIC College of Education and Discovery Partners Institute,
this two-week immersive workshop is designed to prepare future educators
with the technology skills and strategies needed to thrive in today’s PK–12
classrooms.
Dates: August 4–15, 2025 (Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm)
Stipend: $2,000

Chicagoland tech ecosystem
